StickShield is a selectable term protection plan (90 day, 180 day, or 365 days) that covers accidental breakage of a newly purchased hockey stick.
If your stick snaps during normal play, we replace it or reimburse you
up to the original purchase price.
Accidental breakage during normal hockey play
Reimbursement up to the original purchase price (excluding taxes)
Intentional breakage, cosmetic or surface wear (chips, scuffs, scratches), heat damage or modification, use during professional/paid play, and loss or theft.
Anyone who:
Buys a new and preowned hockey sticks !
Registers within 30 days of purchase
Submits required photos during enrollment
After checkout you will receive an email with a registration link.

You will upload the following 4 photos:

Registration takes 2 minutes.
Coverage begins on the day you purchased the stick.
Yes — but only within the first 30 days of purchase, and only if no claim has been filed.
- Cancel within 30 days → activation surcharge refunded
- After 30 days → no refund issued
Once a claim has been filed:
- No refund will be issued
- Warranty is considered fulfilled
- Submit Claim on claims page at www.stickshieldprotection.com
- You will receive a processing email to submit required photos:
- Broken
stick (multiple angles) - Serial
number on stick
StickShield reviews your claim
Sometimes. If requested, StickShield will email a prepaid label.
Failure to return the stick (if requested) = claim denial.
You buy your own replacement stick:
Upload the receipt and serial number photo in your portal
Choose payment method (ACH or credit card refund)
Reimbursement issued in 3–5 business days (ACH)
Reimbursement issued in 1-2 business days (Credit card)
